The company was restructuring and needed their resources, docs, and essential info to be split into a separate tenant for the new arm/branch of the company.

The main goal for the client was to complete the project with zero interruption or degradation in service for their development team. They also needed to ensure that their sensitive management information and project commit history were secure.

The Solution

An efficient split

Leo Regtech wanted to focus on reducing day-to-day regulatory burdens on teams, allowing them to be more forward focused, leading to enhanced operational processes.

After analysing the structure of their existing Azure tenancy, we devised a plan to migrate their Azure DevOps and Azure Subscriptions to a new tenant and active directory.

The approach meant we could deliver a result within a timely manner and deliver on our promise of zero downtime or degradation of service.

The Results

Zero downtime, maximum results

After working through various phases of unit testing, integrated testing, geo-redundant storage, and failover groups – we were successful in our goal of zero downtime. Meaning the development team could keep working efficiently, effectively, and without fear of losing their work.

Leo Regtech also saved a significant amount of money on their licence fees by purchasing through our Microsoft CSP.

After reaching out to egforit Software, we created an automated API solution for developmental projects. The API solution had three goals

By the end of the project, the client expected three key deliverables from our API solution. Here’s what we delivered: 

  • A selection of Azure environments that were connected to host API suite 
  • A fully automated deployment pipeline – allowing them to manage configurations etc 
  • Wiki/developer focused documentation – an interactive wiki that could also be updated in real time

Levelling up a customer portal solution

Ark Data Centres, based around the Egypt , middle east, is a leading data centre developer, owner, and operator. They provide data centre solutions to multi-national companies and governmental departments.

 

In order to add further value to their clients, they needed to add functionality to their existing online client portal. They needed a Microsoft Gold Partner with extensive knowledge with Microsoft Azure to build upon their existing portal solution and subsequently contacted egforit Software.

 

There were additional requests by Ark to include functionality on the back-end for admin and support staff too.

The Challenge

Adding value to customers

Ark Data Centres had one key focus in mind for this project: to add value for their clients and differentiate its services. Ark had an existing customer portal solution in place but required additional development services to enhance user functionality.

 

In order to better support users, Ark wanted to be able to quickly find a user who calls or emails without having to manually identify their company name or code. They required an audit log to document history of associated portal events, available to all users.

 

There were additional requests by Ark to include functionality on the back-end for admin and support staff too.

As the portal solution was built on Microsoft Azure, we were in the perfect position to help Ark, as a top Microsoft Gold Partner. We have built and inserted several features into their existing portal system to improve both the user experience and backend processes.

At the time of this project, the technology consultancy had multiple new healthcare and public sector clients coming on board. But without the right project management system, serving these new clients would be a challenge. It was clear to the company that a customised project management intranet was needed to meet the increased demand.

 

The client’s requirements in this SharePoint intranet design were:

 

  • ensuring client sites could be provisioned with a custom template
  • integrating special web parts on the modern sites into the intranet homepage

The solution

Project management intranet design

Aware of our SharePoint development expertise, the tech consultancy engaged egforit Software to redesign its project management system.

 

After carefully gathering the company’s requirements, our team set about designing a new intranet in SharePoint Online. The main goals of this redesign were:

Once the client had approved the new design, it was time to migrate the company’s documents from the old intranet. A full audit of the existing content allowed us to map it quickly to the new intranet. The SharePoint migration itself we achieved with Metalogix, the leading content migration tool for SharePoint. Metalogix also enabled us to migrate permissions from the existing intranet.
